By Sponza is a solo run small business based in Melbourne (Naarm). All duties are single-handedly performed in-house i.e. designing, pattern making, pattern grading, cutting, toiling, sewing, designing brand identity and creating content.

By Sponza works with local wholesalers to source high-quality materials from fabrics, to threads.
Sewing and working with textiles by right means By Sponza produces textiles waste. By Sponza is committed to minimising this waste as much as possible. This is done by holding onto scrap fabric for as long as possible in hope it can be upcycled in a future design or used for smaller pattern pieces.

Once the scraps become so small, they are kept in a textiles waste bin, and a couple of times a year a collection from Upparel is organised.

By Sponza uses Hero Packaging for our parcels. They are a reusable and compostable alternative to single-use parcels. To Compost: remove all labels, cut parcel into strips and place into compost.
To Re-use the parcel tear-away the secondary strip of tape on the parcel opening.
